Wiki Tip Dump

  1. PLUG-INS:  "Finally, plugins are usually unnecessary for embedding code from other sites. Google Gadgets, You Tube, and many other sites give you html/script to embed in your site already. For that to work flawlessly in WikiStyle, just wrap the contents in <raw escaped=0>...your embedded code...</raw>."  -- Jason Nguyen's "tip" from The Daily Peanut
  2. SHARE PICTURES:  This is how you can add pictures to our pages without really inserting them:  if you have an account with dropshots or flickr (for instance), you can RIGHT CLICK (on a PC) the image you desire to copy, select COPY, then paste it to the correct page.  It's really that simple . . . and the pictures don't show up in our file area!! Practice in the SandBox
  3. ADD SCRIPT:  If you have a look at the Resources page, you'll see that I've added a "widget" from box.com so I can share files with you.  Here's how you do this with the "point-n-click editor)
    1. Click on "insert plug-in"
    2. Search for the "HTML" command (in PBwiki Magic)
    3. Add the code to the box
    4. Save the page
    5. View the magic of PBwiki plug-ins!
