Think of this wiki as a shared online whiteboard. We can share information using this wiki, making our course and our work accessible to everyone. Play around with this wiki: Notice how you can add comments to a page, see what people have changed, and edit all the text.
Chapter Summaries
Each person in the class will be responsible for posting class notes (i.e. the recording secretary) for at least one chapter covered this semester.
Here are some suggestions:
1. Create a new page with the title Chapter5 (for example, which as you can see, has already been created)
2. Post a link here to the page containing your chapter summary/notes
3. Hold "discussions" with class mates regarding revisions (use the "comments" tab above or chat about it)
4. Incorporate additions/corrections suggested by class mates
5. Keep in mind that this is a public wiki; the integrity of your work here DOES matter
Additionally, I expect the revision/addition process to be COLLABORATIVE! Please play! 
Schedule
Decide amongst yourselves who is in charge of which chapter. First drafts are due NO LATER THAN one week from the last day of discussion on that chapter. Revisions can certainly be on-going.

Chapter8: Caro
Chapter9: Multiple (Russ to coordinate & contribute) **<--Need Sign-Ups folks!

Assessment
Everyone registered for MUS 112 is expected to contribute chapter notes and participate in the review/revising process of other chapter summaries. Refusing to participate will negatively affect your class participation grade. Following the "close" of each chapter I will post "credit awarded" lists at the bottom of each chapter page.

Jesse started Chapter 5. I've added his name next to Chapter 5, and just to "tidy up" put his content into the page I had already created. Let's keep the titles simple and consistent, so the Chapter 5 page is called "Chapter5" (no spaces) and the rest should be numbered the same way. (Yes, it's a bit anal retentive. DEAL!!!! ;p )

Are we skipping Chapter 8? If so...let me know if you would rather do 9 instead of another Chapter, Caro.

Yeah...was trying to be tactful in saying: "You can have Chapter 9 if you want it Caroline...since we aren't doing Ch8...and you chose a Chapter before I did..." But...oh well...there you go. *grin*
